So as to cultivate students' innovative consciousness, practical and mental ability, enrich their campus cultural life, enhance their aesthetic concept and sense of group honor, highlight the characteristics of Anqing Foreign Language School and implement quality-oriented education, the 15th 'Pumpkin Art Festival' was held in the west campus on the morning of 3rd November.
To be specific, under the meticulous arrangement of teachers and students, the campus was decorated with colorful flags and decorations. Students' works of art, creative pumpkin carving and handicrafts were showcased in the central exhibition area and the class exhibition area, creating a unique festive atmosphere. More noticeably, students' creative dressing up made the audience feel like they traveled to the fantasy world. On the other hand, this annual large-scale activity attracted a large number of students in and around the school with crowds gathering around the campus and teachers and students welcoming friends from different schools, different ages with full enthusiasm. Thus, there was an atmosphere of joy everywhere. For instance, the well-designed games were very popular such as sticking the nose, ringtoss, throwing the ball, striking the gong and interactive quizs. Meanwhile, the programs prepared by the students received unanimous praise. What's more, the English Corner and the English Street attracted a large number of people as well. Evidently, there was a smile of satisfaction on everyone's face because of the joy of the game, the acquisition of knowledge, the enhancement of friendship and the improvement of ability.
